Our client, a small financial services organization, is seeking a Part-Time HR Consultant to join its organization for 15-25 hours per week. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to partners, helping shape and elevate the firm’s people strategy while also overseeing day-to-day human resources operations across the employee lifecycle. This role will focus on strengthening HR infrastructure, enhancing management practices, and providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance. Job Responsibility
Serve as a trusted advisor to partners, helping shape and elevate the firm’s people strategy while also overseeing day-to-day human resources operations across the employee lifecycle
Focus on strengthening HR infrastructure, enhancing management practices, and providing guidance on employee relations, performance management, compensation, and compliance
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience within financial services, investment management, or professional services environments
Experience operating in both strategic HR leadership and hands-on HR operations capacities within small, complex organizations
Strong experience with employee relations, performance management, compensation guidance, HR policy development, and compliance support
MUST have experience reviewing and managing PEO relationships, with ADP TotalSource experience strongly preferred, including evaluating alternatives and supporting implementation
Familiarity with payroll coordination, benefits administration, and HRIS platforms
Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and partner effectively with leadership and external vendors
Highly resourceful, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously in a fractional, part-time structure
Must be willing to work onsite in the New York City office 2-3 days per week
