Job Description:

We have a rare opportunity for a Part Time Gatekeeper to open and close the gates and the book of remembrance room at the weekend and on bank holidays at our beautiful West Wiltshire Crematorium. This is an excellent opportunity for someone very local to the site to help ensure the grounds are open for families to visit their loved ones and enjoy peace and reflection time on our grounds.

Job Responsibility:

  • Opening the site gates and locking up at the times required
  • Open and close the gates and the book of remembrance room at the weekend and on bank holidays
  • Check that no one is left in the grounds when closing

Requirements:

  • Reliable and able to commit to the hours required every week
  • Could suit someone who has been a caretaker before
  • Someone local to site would be preferred - you will need to be able to commute easily to site at weekends and on bank holidays
