Job Description:

The Hilton University of Florida Conference Center is seeking a dependable and motivated AM Food Runner to support breakfast and lunch service. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely, accurate food delivery and maintaining smooth communication between the kitchen and service team to provide an excellent guest experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
  • Assist servers by resetting tables and maintaining dining room cleanliness
  • Ensure plates are presented correctly and meet quality standards before delivery
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
  • Refill water, coffee, and beverages as needed
  • Follow Hilton brand standards, food safety, and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist with opening and closing side work as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous restaurant or hotel experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a positive, professional attitude
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
