Job Responsibility:
Reports to work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time
Follows instructions for each event as given by the Executive Chef and Sous Chef
Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and/or pans using dishwashers or by hand
Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
Prepare and package individual place settings
Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
Sweep and scrub floors
Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving
Load or unload trucks that deliver or pick up food and supplies
Receive and store supplies
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
Clean garbage cans with water or steam
Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must be able to pass a background check and meet corporate minimum requirements
Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Exhibit a professional attitude and appearance
Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form
Work well independently exercising judgment and initiative, as well as in a team environment with a diverse group of people
Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment
Work effectively under pressure and/or stringent schedule and produce accurate results
Must be able to work unsupervised
Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds

NON-SLIP SHOES REQUIRED
Possess a High School diploma or GED with (1) year of related experience
At least two (2) years of experience in a Food & Beverage environment
Ability to understand and follow direction
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to complete required pre-employment food service training, if applicable
Ability to work in a team
Positive attitude and neat appearance
English preferred as primary language, but not required
Ability to read signs and follow simple oral and written instructions
Excellent customer service skills
Teamwork oriented -- cooperative attitude is a must
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Must be able easily adjust to changing priorities
Must be compliant with Health Codes
Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 60 pounds and place items on high and low shelves
Frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at waist, bending and squatting
Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops and brooms
