Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Part Time Customer Service Representative/Office Assistant to join our team in Mooresville, North Carolina. This role is a Contract with potential to permanent position and involves providing outstanding support to customers while efficiently managing administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to anticipate needs, stay productive during downtime, and contribute to a positive team environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Respond promptly to incoming calls and address customer inquiries, returns, and concerns with professionalism
  • Process replacement orders and ensure accurate documentation, with training provided on relevant systems
  • Manage administrative tasks such as scanning and organizing receipts, preparing documents, and maintaining office supplies
  • Assist in setting up virtual meetings and take clear, detailed notes for documentation purposes
  • Coordinate food orders for team lunches and handle light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean workspace
  • Run small errands, such as purchasing supplies from local stores, to support office operations
  • Collaborate with the Order Processing team during slower periods to ensure workflow efficiency
  • Remain self-directed by identifying tasks, organizing office spaces, and gaining knowledge of product lines
  • Support post-sales activities, including order entry and customer follow-ups, to maintain satisfaction
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and other tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel for basic functions
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and tools, with training provided as needed
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in administrative tasks
  • Excellent communication abilities to handle customer inquiries and collaborate with team members
  • Self-motivated and capable of staying productive during slower periods without constant supervision
  • Experience in customer service, including call center or order entry roles, is highly desirable
  • Positive and outgoing personality with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues

Nice to have:

Exposure to SAP Hana is a plus but not mandatory
