We are looking for a skilled Part-time Controller to join a non-profit organization in Chicago, Illinois. Job Responsibility

  • Oversee and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and financial goals
  • Conduct audits to maintain compliance and improve operational efficiency
  • Manage student financial aid and scholarship programs with precision and adherence to policies
  • Develop and update department standard operating procedures (SOPs) for improved workflows
  • Utilize financial software such as Paylocity, bill.com, and Abila MIP to manage transactions and reporting
  • Perform data entry tasks to support accurate financial records
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial processes and reporting capabilities
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in financial operations

Requirements
