Job Description:

As a Cleaner, you’ll help ensure our multi-level accommodation, offices, and communal areas remain clean, hygienic and inviting. Your work will directly support the wellbeing and comfort of everyone who uses our facilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Create welcoming, hygienic spaces by keeping communal areas, offices, bathrooms, kitchens and corridors clean, tidy and inviting
  • Take pride in specialist cleaning tasks, including regular deep cleans, descaling, and maintaining high standards throughout the building
  • Help keep the environment safe and clutter‑free by managing waste, emptying bins, and ensuring fire escapes and walkways remain clear
  • Enhance the look and feel of our spaces by cleaning windows, furniture, fixtures and equipment to a high standard
  • Stay organised and proactive by keeping accurate cleaning records and monitoring stock levels so materials are always available
  • Contribute to a safe and supportive environment by following safeguarding, health & safety and data protection procedures, and taking part in ongoing training

Requirements:

  • Experience in general building cleaning — ideally in residential or multi-use settings
  • A non‑judgemental, respectful approach when working around young people
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety, including COSHH regulations
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
