Job Description

Operates a single, tandem or multi-axle configuration truck for delivery and/or pick-up of agronomy and/or energy products following specified time schedules to/from the company locations or customer locations to achieve profitable business growth.

Job Responsibility

  • Operates all assigned vehicles in accordance with safety standards
  • Performs and records daily safety checks of assigned vehicles
  • Loads and unloads containers, pallets, materials
  • Ensures deliveries and pickups are made on time
  • Completes associated documentation
  • Completes necessary paperwork including logbooks
  • Maintains company equipment
  • Adheres to company Uniform Policy

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of and ability to safely operate tractor trailer or tender truck equipment
  • Must have or have ability to obtain and maintain a CDL license with required endorsements
  • Valid medical card
  • Satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to work extended hours and on-call
  • Must be able to obtain other applicable certifications, licenses, permits
  • Ability to lift 51-70 lbs
  • Occasional exposure to extreme weather, noisy conditions, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards
  • May be required to work at varying heights
