Job Description:

Part-time Bookkeeper role located in Glasgow, working in the manufacturing and production sector, responsible for a variety of financial tasks such as posting invoices, managing credit control, performing reconciliations, and assisting with cash flow management. The role offers a supportive team environment and a healthy work-life balance.

Job Responsibility:

Posting invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Managing credit control procedures to ensure timely payments
Processing purchase invoicing with attention to detail
Performing nominal coding to maintain accurate records
Conducting reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements
Assisting with cash flow management to support business operations
Handling general administrative tasks to support the finance team
Answering incoming phone calls to address queries and provide support

Requirements:

Previous bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in Sage 50
Excellent Excel skills for data analysis and reporting
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and external stakeholders
A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all financial tasks
Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player
