Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to support our manufacturing client in Painesville. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys working with numbers, and can manage multiple accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate general ledger entries and financial records
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments
  • Track expenses and support budgeting activities
  • Maintain organized and compliant financial documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy of financial data

Requirements

  • Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience required
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Solid understanding of debits/credits and general ledger accounting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
