We are looking for a detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team in Modesto, California. This role is within the non-profit industry and offers a Contract to permanent position for the right candidate. The position requires working onsite Monday through Friday, providing critical support to financial operations and office administration.
Job Responsibility:
Process accounts payable transactions, managing less than 100 invoices per month
Handle bi-weekly payroll for a small team of 6-7 employees
Prepare and review monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance
Perform bank reconciliations for 3-4 accounts and manage bank deposits
Maintain and update spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel to track financial data
Provide office and reception support, including administrative tasks and customer service
Utilize QuickBooks to manage and record financial transactions effectively
Requirements:
Proven experience in bookkeeping, including accounts payable and payroll processing
Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial records and transactions
Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Skilled in using Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage office and reception duties
Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in Modesto, California
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial tasks
