We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper or General Accountant to support a growing organization that provides accounting services to nonprofit clients. This role will assist with an upcoming system implementation and help transition financial processes from QuickBooks Online to Bill.com. This is a fully remote, part-time contract opportunity (approximately 20 hours per week).
Job Responsibility:
Support the transition of financial processes from QuickBooks Online to Bill.com
Assist with ERP/system implementation tasks including data preparation, testing, and process documentation
Maintain accurate financial records for nonprofit clients
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Assist with bank and credit card reconciliations
Help ensure proper documentation and compliance with nonprofit accounting practices
Collaborate with the internal accounting team to ensure a smooth system transition
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper/accountant, preferably in a remote setting
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com
Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a part-time schedule
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
Nice to have:
Familiarity with accounting processes for non-profit organizations is a plus
Experience with system integrations related to accounting tools is preferred
