Job Description:

Brook Street Recruitment are currently working on behalf of our Belfast client ( Westbank Road Area ) who seeking a Part-Time Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a flexible role offering 21 hours per week, worked either across five mornings or three full days, depending on the successful candidate's availability. The role will support the day-to-day finance function and will report directly to the Senior Accountant based in the Dublin office, working closely with the senior accountant.

Job Responsibility:

  • General bookkeeping and accounts administration
  • Processing invoices, expenses, and payments
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations
  • Assisting with accounts payable and receivable
  • Supporting month-end and basic reporting tasks
  • Liaising with the Senior Accountant and responding to finance queries
  • Ensuring compliance with internal processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team
  • Excellent communication skills
