Job Description:

You are the first connection that our guests have to our hotel and a vital contributor to the success of their experience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist arriving and departing guests with luggage
  • provide information regarding the property and local area
  • use the guest's name to make them feel welcome and important
  • help acclimate guests to the hotel
  • greet every guest with a smile and a friendly greeting
  • show guests to their room and assist with their luggage
  • check luggage for hotel guests both for day and overnight storage
  • promote the amenities and services of the hotel and be an ambassador for our city
  • know the neighborhood and be able to provide directions and suggestions for dining and entertainment

Requirements:

  • High School diploma (or equivalent)
  • preferably three to six months of related experience
  • must be a people-person
  • must be able to interact with all hotel guests and team members in a polite and positive manner at all times
  • must be able to fulfill requests (even challenging ones) in a timely manner
  • must be able to move around
  • must be able to stand/sit, carry/lift up to 50 pounds, walk, bend/twist, climb stairs
  • must be able to accommodate varying schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
