Job Description:

Part-time accounts assistant role supporting finance operations for a mission-driven organization. This is a new role reporting to a Finance Manager with potential for hours to increase as the company grows.

Job Responsibility:

  • Entering new membership sales invoices into Xero
  • Adding PayPal payment invoices to Xero
  • Running monthly statements
  • Assisting with debt chasing
  • Updating annual renewal information on CMS
  • Maintaining and updating spreadsheets and Google Sheets
  • Supporting the Finance Executive with ad hoc tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Confident IT skills, particularly in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
  • Service-oriented mindset
  • Driver required due to location
