Part-Qualified Senior Trainee Accountant role at Wellers, a forward-thinking accountancy practice serving clients across property investment, construction, professional services, entertainment, retail, and hospitality. Job Responsibility:

  • Audit and accounts work, both in-house and at client locations

Requirements:

  • ACCA or ICAEW part-qualified, with the certificate and some professional stage exams completed
  • Demonstrable recent experience within an accountancy practice, working on audits, as well as completing bookkeeping, accounts, and tax assignments, with exposure to a range of clients varying in both size and sector
  • Good current knowledge of compliance requirements
  • Proficient in accountancy and office software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.)
  • Keen to provide an outstanding and professional service to clients, ensuring exceptional advice and maximum added value
  • Used to taking ownership of work and demonstrating a proactive approach with strong commercial awareness
  • Positive team player and an excellent communicator, both with clients and colleagues
