You will play an integral part in delivering high-quality service to clients and developing your technical knowledge in areas such as accounts preparation, tax, and cloud-based systems. Job Responsibility:

  • Preparation of year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
  • Assisting with management accounts and VAT returns
  • Supporting clients with cloud-based software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
  • Liaising with clients and providing advice and support when needed
  • Assisting with training and mentoring junior staff
  • Working closely with managers and partners on ad hoc projects

Requirements:

  • Part qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
