Job Description:

This role offers excellent exposure to a varied client portfolio and the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals across the business. You will play an integral part in delivering high-quality service to clients and developing your technical knowledge in areas such as accounts preparation, tax, and cloud-based systems. Whether you are continuing your ACA/ACCA studies or planning your next step, this role offers the chance to build a long-term career with real progression opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

Preparation of year-end accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
Assisting with management accounts and VAT returns
Supporting clients with cloud-based software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks)
Liaising with clients and providing advice and support when needed
Assisting with training and mentoring junior staff
Working closely with managers and partners on ad hoc projects

Requirements:

Part qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent
Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
