Job Description:

This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to develop their career in a supportive, professional environment. You'll be involved in a variety of work including accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT returns, and personal tax work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Liaising directly with clients, so strong communication skills are essential

Requirements:

  • Must be from an accountancy practice
  • Part-qualified AAT as a minimum
  • we also welcome applications from those studying towards ACCA or ACA, or with equivalent experience
  • Experience with cloud accounting software is an advantage
  • A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and progress

  • Producing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Work with external stakeholders through audit and budgeting processes
  • Challenging and driving improvements in existing processes and practices
  • Act as one of the primary contacts for external auditors, leading the team to ensure accurate and timely responses
  • Analysing key variances that drive movements in the financial accounts and make recommendations
  • Supporting junior colleagues in the development of their knowledge and skills
  • Perform other tasks as required
