We are currently recruiting for an experienced Parking Representations Officer to join a busy Parking Services team on a fully remote, 3-month ongoing contract. This role focuses on investigating and responding to challenges and representations against Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) and Fixed Penalty Notices (FPNs), ensuring all decisions are accurate, compliant, and clearly communicated.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and prioritise your own workload in line with service demands
Investigate challenges and representations against PCNs/FPNs, assessing evidence and making informed decisions
Request additional evidence where required to support case outcomes
Administer Charge Certificate correspondence and related processes
Liaise with the County Court regarding Witness Statements and statutory declarations
Identify and report potential on-street malpractices relating to PCNs or permits
Support wider Parking & Licensing functions during peak periods or staff absence
Review CCTV evidence and issue PCNs where contraventions are identified
Requirements:
Previous experience in parking services or handling PCN/FPN representations
Strong knowledge of parking legislation and enforcement processes
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to respond in clear, plain English
Ability to manage a high-volume workload independently
Strong attention to detail and decision-making skills
Experience dealing with challenging or sensitive customer enquiries
