Requirements

Previous experience building terrain park or bike park features is a plus
Must be an intermediate or advanced skier or snowboarder with the ability to test features
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Willingness to learn, follow direction, and get your hands dirty with physical labor
Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds
must be able to work on your feet at least 8 hours

Job Responsibility

Build and maintain terrain park features from start to finish
Perform daily upkeep using shovels and tools to ensure safe and smooth park flow
Promote safety and good vibes by educating guests on Park Etiquette & Education
Stay on top of resort and Boyne USA policies while maintaining a safe work environment
Ride or ski daily to test features and ensure the park meets the highest standards
Be an active team player—contribute ideas, help wherever needed, and keep the stoke high
Take pride in your work by keeping parks clean, organized, and guest-ready

A valid California driver's license and good driving record
Ability to drive both manual and automatic
At least one-year experience in luxury hospitality setting as Valet Parking Attendant

Job Responsibility

Greets guests who arrive by private car and assists guests descending from cars
Issues appropriate valet parking ticket to guests when Door Staff is unavailable
Drives car to hotel or local garage, adhering to all traffic regulations, and speed limits, using caution not to damage the vehicle and other vehicles in the vicinity
Yields to pedestrians
Assesses any damage to vehicle
Clearly notes any damage on claim ticket along with location of vehicle when parked
Deposits key and ticket with Valet Cashier
Opens hotel doors for all guests and gives verbal welcome when not parking or retrieving guest cars
Provides guests with directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions
Hails taxis as needed

Requirements

High School diploma or GED required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must maintain a valid Driver's License
Must obtain a valid CPR and First Aid certification within one month (1) month of hire
Must pass a criminal and driving background check
Must have at least one year of education in Natural Resources or Criminal Justice
Must have basic swimming abilities
Knowledge of outdoor recreation
Demonstrated knowledge of area ecosystems and related native plants and wildlife
biology, wildlife management, geology, environmental sciences, and local and state history

Job Responsibility

Educate park visitors on applicable state statutes, park rules, and regulations within statutory and agency guidelines to protect and preserve natural, historic, and cultural features, sites, and structures
Respond to emergencies
Help protect people and property in Wyoming State Parks and Historic sites
Patrol assigned park areas to provide high public visibility
Patrol front and backcountry areas by foot, vehicle, UTVs, watercraft, and mountain bike as needed
May be required to provide testimony in court regarding investigations of park-related incidents
Assist visitors who require assistance for various reasons
Provide recreational and historic information about the park system and the local area
Participate in community policing efforts at parks and historic sites
Provide traffic control or other assistance for special events
