Job Description

The Parking Operations Manager oversees all parking, traffic flow, and bus staging operations for the festival. This role ensures guests arrive and depart safely and efficiently, staff are properly deployed, and parking capacity is actively managed throughout the day. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires calm decision-making during peak arrival and departure periods. Any parking issues will be escalated to you during your shift. This positions reports directly to the leadership team.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead and supervise all Parking Attendants
  • Provide clear instructions to attendants and ensure policies are being followed
  • Manage staffing schedules and communicate schedules and timing to team
  • Manage vehicle traffic flow and parking layout
  • Monitor parking capacity and activate overflow parking as needed
  • Oversee accessible parking and bus staging areas
  • Coordinate with the General Manager on daily capacity and group arrivals
  • Communicate parking updates to Entrance, Field, and Group teams
  • Ensure emergency lanes remain clear at all times
  • Address guest concerns related to parking
  • Adjust operations for weather or safety conditions
  • Provide end-of-day feedback to the General Manager

Requirements

  • Must be 18+
  • Experience in parking, traffic, event operations, or outdoor logistics
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Confident leadership and clear communication skills
  • Calm under pressure during busy arrival windows
  • Reliable transportation to and from the site
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and instructions
  • Must be available weekends
