Keyhole State Park is located on the western edge of the Black Hills, between Sundance and Moorcroft. Come and explore beautiful northeastern Wyoming! Manage overall site operations, including public relations, buildings and grounds maintenance, visitor services, interpretive programming, personnel, and budget. Understand and support broad division and department initiatives. Comply with all policies and regulatory requirements. Work within best practices and established industry standards.
Job Responsibility:

Work within best practices and established industry standards
Personnel Management. Hire, train, schedule, mentor, supervise, discipline, accurately submit time sheets, perform personnel reviews, and terminate permanent and seasonal employees and volunteers. Liason with agency Law Enforcement and Game and Fish
Budget Management. Plan, project, and recommend changes to the biennial budget, regularly monitor and track the budget, make purchases, ensure prompt and thorough completion of required budget paperwork, and work within the assigned budget. Manage fee program, SRA requests, and major maintenance
Buildings and Grounds Maintenance. Assess, perform, and supervise maintenance of facilities, including historic and modern structures, water systems, sewer systems, campgrounds, lodges, yurts, cabins, rental operations, visitor centers, roads, and natural resources
Equipment and Vehicle Management. Acquire, maintain, and dispose of equipment, vehicles, and tools. Maintain equipment and vehicle inventory
Public Relations. Management of all community public relations, including friends groups, volunteers, state, federal, and municipal agencies, and other NGOs. Oversight of all aspects of concessionaire operations
Public Programming. Develop, implement, review and adapt exhibits, programming, and marketing to fit the changing needs of the agency or the visitor
Customer Service. Manage campground reservation and public meeting space reservation systems. Professionally handle customer complaints and promote customer satisfaction
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (typically in Park Management)
1-2 years of progressive work experience (typically in Park Management) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Parks Superintendent I
OR 4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Park Management) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Parks Superintendent I
Knowledge of principles of recreation, park maintenance and management
Knowledge of principles of park planning and development of park facilities
Knowledge of interpretive techniques, exhibit planning and construction
Knowledge of and commitment to customer service
Skill in problem solving
Skill in mechanical repair, carpentry, construction and facility maintenance
Skill in the operation and maintenance of tools and equipment
Skill in personnel supervision and motivation
First Aid, CPR, and Water Distribution Level 1 certifications must be obtained within the first year of employment as a condition of employment
Nice to have:
At least one year of work experience in supervision, budget management, and public relations
