Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join our busy Financial Planning department in our Taunton office. You will be part of our paraplanning team, researching, preparing, and writing a wide range of reports within given timescales whilst helping train, coach, and support more junior paraplanners and report writers. You will deliver great service to our clients, and provide overall support for our consultants.

Job Responsibility:

Researching, preparing, and writing a wide range of reports within given timescales
Helping train, coach, and support more junior paraplanners and report writers
Delivering great service to clients
Providing overall support for consultants

Requirements:

Dip PFS or equivalent
At least 2-3 years previous experience in a similar role
Service focused with great client care, especially over the phone
Great communication skills and ability to work within a team
Sound knowledge of investments, pensions, IHT planning and centralised investment propositions
Understanding or willingness to incorporate Long Term Care planning
Knowledge of trusts
Confidence in using IT software
Experience with Intelligent Office client database/back office system welcomed
Experience with research tools such as FE Analytics and Selectapension welcomed
Experience with cashflow modelling software such as Voyant and Cashcalc welcomed
