We’re partnering with an independent, SEC‑registered RIA in Mill Valley seeking talented individuals to join its growing Wealth Management team. The firm is committed to delivering exceptional client service and engaging deeply with the local community. Depending on experience, this opportunity can be structured as a Paraplanner or Wealth Manager. Both roles support the delivery of comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and exceptional client service. The Wealth Manager role is ideal for advisors with 5+ years of experience seeking greater responsibility and direct client ownership.

Job Responsibility:

  • Client Relationship Management: Support or manage day‑to‑day client interactions
  • Build trusted, long‑term relationships through proactive service and thoughtful communication
  • Financial Planning & Wealth Management: Develop and present financial plans
  • Support investment strategies, portfolio reviews, and planning recommendations
  • Business Development: Participate in client acquisition efforts
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth and community engagement initiatives
  • Professional Growth & Contribution: Collaborate with team members to enhance processes, client experience, and firm initiatives
  • Compliance & Record‑Keeping: Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in line with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field
  • CFP® required
  • Series 65 (or equivalent) strongly preferred
  • Paraplanner: 2+ years in financial planning, wealth management, or investment advisory
  • Wealth Manager: 5+ years in client‑facing advisory roles
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning concepts and investment strategies
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build credibility and trusted client relationships
  • Strategic thinker with problem‑solving skills
  • Team‑oriented mindset with leadership and mentoring capabilities
