PARAMEDIC Full/Part Time POSITION AVAILABLE. Provides Advanced Life Support including medical evaluation, treatment and stabilization of the critically ill and injured; responds to emergency rescue situations involving potential loss of life or bodily injury; maintains control, manages and directs patient care at the scene of a pre-hospital emergency; provides training and instruction to lesser trained personnel; performs other duties as required.

Properly completes patient statistics and medical information forms
Performs technical rescues

Requirements:
Paramedic Licensure
CPR for the Health Care Provider
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Good knowledge of the street systems, addresses and physical layout of the area
Good knowledge of rescue equipment and emergency medical equipment used in Advanced Life Support
Good ability to perform technical medical skills with a high degree of accuracy
Good ability to understand and effectively deal with emotional and medical needs of victims
Good ability to maintain a professional and objective approach
Good ability to learn new concepts in rescue and medical skills
Good ability to perform mechanical work involved in testing and maintaining equipment
Good ability to direct work of and teach other personnel
Good ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
Good ability to maintain a professional attitude
Good ability to establish effective working relationships
Good ability to drive and operate emergency ambulance units
