We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Wilmington, Delaware. Job Responsibility:
Respond promptly to client inquiries and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
Order, track, and review medical records to gather evidence for case documentation, ensuring follow-ups are completed as needed
Calendar and maintain client-related deadlines, including statutes of limitations and discovery schedules
Prepare and submit discovery responses, including interrogatories, Plaintiff Fact Sheets, Plaintiff Profile Forms, and Census Forms, while addressing related deficiencies
Collaborate closely with the Client Service Specialist team to effectively manage client needs and objectives
Work with litigation teams to ensure client files are complete, discovery deadlines are met, and cases are prepared for trial
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other public-access resources
Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel for project management and documentation
Manage and organize case files using case management software
Support billing and administrative functions related to legal case management
Requirements:
Proven experience in paralegal work, particularly in mass tort or litigation support
Proficiency in Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software
Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) and CompuLaw
Strong skills in calendar management and meeting deadlines
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal
Experience conducting legal research and preparing legal documentation
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of client intake processes and claim administration
