Job Description:

We are seeking a paralegal with a focus on federal litigation to join our team in Miami, Florida. As a paralegal, you will be expected to provide comprehensive support for court-related activities, manage case details, and have a strong understanding of business and commercial law. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Job Responsibility:

Support federal litigation activities, particularly in the Southern District of Florida
Utilize Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and CompuLaw for case management and billing functions
Prepare and manage documentation for Section 1782
Oversee calendar management and claim administration
Collaborate with the team to prepare and deliver briefing materials
Maintain clear and effective communication across all levels of the organization
Utilize case management software to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of cases
Demonstrate a strong understanding of business and commercial law
Provide support for court-related activities in federal courts
Uphold the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

Proficiency in Aderant software
Experience with Adobe Acrobat
Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS)
Proficiency in using Case Management Software
Experience with CompuLaw
Ability to handle Billing Functions efficiently
Strong briefing skills
Experience in Calendar Management
Proficiency in Claim Administration
Excellent Communication skills
Knowledge in Business & Commercial Law
Experience with Federal Courts
