We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in personal injury law and pre-litigation processes, particularly focusing on motor vehicle accident cases. This role requires a strong ability to manage case files, prepare legal documents, and support attorneys throughout litigation phases.
Job Responsibility:
Manage pre-litigation case files, ensuring all records and documents are thoroughly organized and up to date
Assist attorneys with discovery processes, including gathering and reviewing case-related evidence
Prepare legal documents and correspondence, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws
Conduct trial preparation activities, including assembling exhibits, summarizing depositions, and coordinating schedules
Utilize case management software to track progress and deadlines for multiple cases
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and third parties to gather information and provide updates on case developments
Support attorneys in civil litigation processes, including drafting pleadings and motions
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective handling of personal injury cases
Research case law and legal precedents to support litigation strategies
Monitor and adhere to filing deadlines, court schedules, and other critical timelines
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law
Proficiency in discovery processes and civil litigation procedures
Strong skills in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and summarizing case details
Experience working with case management software to manage deadlines and case progress
Knowledge of personal injury litigation, particularly related to motor vehicle accidents
Excellent organizational and communication skills for interacting with clients and legal professionals
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple cases simultaneously
Familiarity with legal research tools and techniques to support case development
