Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Paralegal to join our legal team in Clifton, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will have experience managing personal injury cases and will play a key role in supporting attorneys with a variety of tasks. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with one attorney, handling cases from start to finish while collaborating with clients and other legal professionals.

Job Responsibility:

Handling a file from inception to close
Medical chrons
Depo summaries
Liaising with clients and opposing counsel
Demand packages
Drafting Complaint
Pre-trial work
Ownership of case handling after intake
Will be assigned to one attorney
Working on slip-and-fall, auto accident, and construction cases

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on plaintiff personal injury cases
Proficiency in drafting legal documents, preparing demand packages, and summarizing depositions
Strong organizational and communication skills to liaise with clients and legal professionals effectively
Familiarity with case management software
experience with Needles is a plus
Fluency in Spanish or Polish is preferred but not required
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience with slip-and-fall, auto accident, and construction cases is highly desirable

Nice to have:
