We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Memphis, Tennessee. This role focuses on real estate law, specifically residential transactions, and requires someone who is detail oriented and can expertly manage legal documentation and closing processes. The position has the potential to become permanent based on workload and performance.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare, review, and organize closing documents for residential real estate transactions
Manage and maintain legal records and files associated with property closings
Utilize Qualia software to process and track transaction details
Collaborate with attorneys and other legal professionals to ensure compliance with legal standards
Conduct research and ensure all necessary documents are accurate and complete
Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on transaction progress
Assist in resolving any legal discrepancies or issues related to real estate closings
Ensure timely submission of documents and adherence to deadlines
Stay updated on real estate laws and regulations impacting residential transactions
Requirements:
Prior experience as a paralegal with a focus on real estate law
Proficiency in handling residential property transactions and closing processes
Familiarity with Qualia software or similar transaction management tools
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple files and deadlines effectively
Excellent attention to detail when preparing and reviewing legal documents
Ability to work on-site in Memphis, Tennessee
Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and legal professionals
Knowledge of real estate laws and regulations applicable to residential properties
