Paralegal

• Conduct comprehensive reviews of dependent and independent claims to ensure logical coverage, proper antecedent basis, and consistency
• Cross-reference claims, specifications, figures, and descriptions for accuracy and alignment
• Perform quality control checks on attorney redlines, ensuring numbering integrity, cross-reference accuracy, and dependency structure
• Manage filing logistics, including entity status, fee calculations, preparation of required documents, and submission via patent filing systems
• Track and monitor critical deadlines such as office action responses, priority dates, and provisional conversions
• Maintain visibility of the patent pipeline, flagging bottlenecks and coordinating tasks across inventors, outside counsel, and other stakeholders
• Prepare and file patent applications using tools like Patent Center and e-filing systems
• Ensure proper documentation for oaths, declarations, assignments, and other required paperwork
• Collaborate directly with inventors and patent counsel to streamline prosecution processes
• Monitor and resolve issues related to filing accuracy and compliance

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent prosecution as a paralegal, particularly for utility patents
• Proven ability to handle 15–25 active filings simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise in using Patent Center and other e-filing systems for submissions
• Familiarity with multiple technical domains, including biotech, AI/software, medical devices, and chemical/materials
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially in verifying cross-references between claims and specifications
• Strong organizational skills and responsiveness to meet tight deadlines

Preferred qualifications include a paralegal certificate or CP/RP certification
