We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Flint, Michigan. In this role, you will provide critical support for legal and contractual matters within the real estate industry, focusing on sales and leases. This is a long-term contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-level projects and collaborate with legal professionals.
Job Responsibility:
Draft and organize real estate contracts, leases, amendments, and related agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance
Facilitate the execution and tracking of development contracts and other legal documents
Maintain well-organized files for contracts and legal documentation to support efficient access and review
Assist in preparing documentation for legal claims related to development projects and interactions with federal agencies
Compile supporting materials, timelines, and project records for external legal counsel
Draft preliminary summaries and supporting documents for attorney review to aid in legal claims
Conduct legal research to support various real estate transactions and claims
Collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders to ensure all legal documents meet regulatory and business requirements
Analyze and organize information related to federal contracts and compliance
Provide general legal support for commercial real estate transactions and agreements
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in real estate or corporate law
Strong knowledge of legal research methods and resources
Familiarity with commercial real estate transactions and contracts
Experience working with federal contracts and compliance documentation
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal contracts, leases, and amendments
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Effective communication skills to collaborate with attorneys, stakeholders, and external counsel
