Paralegal

• Provide support to Legal Department using analytical, communication and organizational skills
• Research and resolve issues involving legal or factual complexity
• Provide substantiation for client inquiries, claims, disputes, cases and proceedings
• Present recommendations and exercise independent judgement
• Identify issues and work independently on complex assignments
• Prepare agreements, documents and pleadings under attorney direction
• Collaborate with Legal Department attorneys, staff, and outside counsel
• Maintain matter management in database
• Communicate with government entities
• Assist with projects as needed

• 2+ years of Paralegal experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
• Experience in litigation
• Experience with eDiscovery
• Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
• Strong research skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills
