We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to support a high-volume litigation practice serving clients in Atlanta, Georgia. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who can manage complex case activity, maintain organized records, and communicate effectively with clients and legal teams. The role will focus heavily on mass tort matters, including Camp Lejeune cases, while helping reduce a substantial case backlog through strong procedural and administrative support.
Job Responsibility
Prepare and revise a range of litigation filings, correspondence, and supporting legal documents for attorney review and submission
Communicate with clients to gather updates, provide case-related information, and help ensure a responsive service experience throughout the legal process
Coordinate the collection of medical documentation and follow up with providers to obtain complete and timely records
Support Camp Lejeune and other mass tort matters by organizing claim materials, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate case files
Oversee day-to-day case administration by updating statuses, maintaining documentation, and ensuring matters progress efficiently
Manage court calendars and litigation deadlines by tracking key dates and keeping attorneys informed of upcoming obligations
File legal documents electronically with courts and confirm that submissions meet procedural requirements
Assist with discovery preparation, trial support activities, and related litigation tasks as needed across a busy caseload
Requirements
Prior paralegal experience in civil litigation, with the ability to support matters from intake through trial preparation
Working knowledge of discovery processes, court filing procedures, and litigation document management
Experience handling mass tort matters, including high-volume caseloads and detailed record organization
Proficiency with case management software and the ability to keep files, deadlines, and communications accurately maintained
Strong understanding of docketing practices and the importance of deadline control in active litigation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, attorneys, courts, and outside providers
High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
