We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our detail-oriented services team in Dallas, Texas. This role focuses on managing trademark-related matters, both domestically and internationally, and requires strong organizational and legal skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and capable of handling complex intellectual property processes with precision.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the filing and prosecution of U.S. and international trademark applications, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements
Coordinate electronic filings and manage the complete lifecycle of trademark applications
Collaborate with foreign legal counsel to handle international trademark filings and meet country-specific formalities
Maintain and update trademark docket systems, while working with attorneys to plan and meet critical deadlines
Assist in domestic and international infringement cases by collecting evidence and creating tracking reports
Draft, review, and process assignment documents, ensuring adherence to global notarization and legalization standards
Perform research using trademark databases and online resources to gather essential information
Prepare and distribute client updates regarding regulatory developments and communications from foreign counsel
Communicate with clients to ensure timely submissions, compliance, and completion of post-registration requirements
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on intellectual property law
Strong knowledge of trademark prosecution and filing processes, both in the U.S. and internationally
Proficiency in managing trademark docket systems and meeting strict deadlines
Experience working with foreign counsel and handling country-specific trademark requirements
Familiarity with conducting research using trademark databases and online resources
Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage client correspondence and deadlines
Ability to draft and process legal documents in compliance with international standards
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
