Our client, a boutique business litigation and civil rights law firm in NYC, is seeking to add a Paralegal with 2-5 years’ experience to their litigation team. The successful candidate will assist during all phases of the litigation process, including conducting interviews, legal research, document filing, and attending trials.
Job Responsibility:
Provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including conducting interviews, legal research, document filing, and attending trials
Create and manage deposition binders and case files
Draft and format Table of Authorities (TOA)
Collaborate with legal teams and external parties.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, with a focus on civil litigation and employment litigation
Proficiency in federal court procedures, including e-Filing and document redaction
Strong ability to create and manage deposition binders and case files
Experience in drafting and formatting Table of Authorities (TOA)
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective communication skills to collaborate with legal teams and external parties
College degree required
paralegal certificate is not mandatory
Prior experience in employment litigation is a plus.
