An opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join our busy commercial real estate team based in Glasgow. The role would be primarily focused on telecoms, with an opportunity to work with real estate colleagues across the UK on nationwide projects.
Job Responsibility:
Dealing with landlord/tenant asset management work, including drafting and negotiating the full suite of lease documents with the team's support and managing client reporting
Work largely geared towards Scottish real estate telecoms work (mainly transactional with an opportunity to work in litigation as well)
Requirements:
Be highly organised and a confident communicator with an outstanding eye for detail
Be interested in and willing to learn real estate and telecoms law as required for the role
Be IT literate, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office
Be willing to follow a process driven system, working within set parameters
Be team orientated, with a willingness to share knowledge with and support other members of the team
Have an ability to adopt a commercial perspective
Have some experience in working in a law firm either in a paralegal or administrative capacity and be looking for the next step to secure qualification
Have completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice
Nice to have:
Previous knowledge or experience of a case management system
Some knowledge of Scottish property law and/or experience of working in a real estate environment, particularly any experience in telecoms work
