We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Paralegal to join our team in Texas. This role requires a strong understanding of legal procedures, case management, and litigation processes, with a focus on supporting attorneys in delivering high-quality legal services. Job Responsibility:
Supervise legal assistants and support staff, ensuring their work is accurate, timely, and compliant with court regulations
Review and calendar electronic filings from federal and state courts in accordance with applicable rules
Allocate resources effectively based on case deadlines, trial schedules, and attorney priorities
Train legal assistants and support staff on protocols related to wage and hour case management
Collaborate with attorneys on case strategy, discovery processes, and client communication
Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and assist with trial preparation
Analyze discovery materials, summarize findings, and provide substantive insights
Finalize and file pleadings while ensuring compliance with procedural requirements
Coordinate deposition logistics, including scheduling, transcript handling, and vendor management
Prepare mediation packets and ensure all necessary documentation is organized for mediation sessions
Requirements:
Proven experience in civil litigation and discovery processes
Strong skills in trial preparation and legal document drafting
Proficiency in case management software, such as Litify or similar platforms
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills for client interactions and attorney collaboration
Familiarity with federal and state court rules and procedures
Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain accurate case records
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative legal team
