Job Description

We are looking for a Paralegal to support a busy legal team handling commercial real estate matters in Boston, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for candidates with hands-on closing experience, whether they are building their career or bringing more advanced expertise. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to active transactions, coordinate critical documentation, and help keep deals moving efficiently from preparation through closing.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare, review, and organize documents related to commercial real estate transactions to support timely closings
  • Coordinate with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties to keep transaction steps on schedule
  • Track closing timelines, key deadlines, and outstanding items to help ensure each matter progresses smoothly
  • Assist with due diligence by gathering, examining, and maintaining transaction records, agreements, and related materials
  • Manage closing checklists and follow up with stakeholders to confirm required documents and approvals are completed
  • Support post-closing activities, including assembling final files and maintaining accurate records for completed matters

Requirements

  • Prior experience supporting commercial real estate transactions, including closing-related work
  • Ability to handle multiple active matters in a fast-paced legal environment
  • Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and document accuracy
  • Effective communication skills for working with attorneys, clients, and external partners
  • Familiarity with legal documentation, transaction coordination, and file management practices
  • Paralegal experience at either an entry-level or senior level
