We are looking for a detail-oriented Paralegal to support complex civil and commercial litigation matters in Dallas, Texas. This role will play an important part in organizing case materials, preparing legal filings, coordinating litigation logistics, and assisting attorneys through every phase of a matter. The ideal candidate brings strong document management skills, sound judgment with deadlines, and hands-on experience with trial and discovery support tools.
Job Responsibility
Organize, review, and analyze case documents while maintaining accurate indexing and production workflows for litigation matters
Prepare and update pleadings, written correspondence, and discovery materials to support attorneys throughout active cases
Track and calendar filing and procedural deadlines across federal and state courts to help ensure timely case activity
Assemble hearing, deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial materials, including exhibit binders and case notebooks
Provide hands-on support during depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial proceedings as needed
Coordinate communications with clients, outside vendors, expert witnesses, court reporters, videographers, and opposing counsel
Manage document review databases such as Relativity and Disco to facilitate discovery review and case preparation
Maintain organized files for fact witnesses and expert witnesses, ensuring records are current and easy to access
Develop trial and hearing presentation materials, including demonstratives and slide presentations, for use in litigation proceedings
Requirements
At least 3 years of paralegal experience supporting litigation matters, preferably within civil or commercial litigation
Practical experience preparing discovery, legal filings, and case-related correspondence in an active litigation environment
Working knowledge of federal and state court procedures, including deadline management and electronic filing
Proficiency with legal research and litigation technology tools such as Westlaw, Relativity, Disco, and OnCue
Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, with the ability to create high-quality case materials
Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain organized records, and handle sensitive information with discretion
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with attorneys, clients, experts, and external partners
