Job Description

The Paralegal will assist in managing complex litigation cases with a strong emphasis on electronic filing and advanced e-discovery systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate with clients to collect electronically stored information for discovery requests
  • Manage the e-discovery process including data processing, deduplication, and document review within dedicated platforms
  • Prepare and produce discovery responses in accordance with court rules and deadlines
  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, privilege logs and discovery responses under attorney supervision
  • Organize and maintain case files electronically, ensuring proper document indexing and tracking
  • Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit management
  • Accurately file legal documents through various court electronic filing systems ensuring compliance with formatting requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years of litigation paralegal experience
  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred
  • Proficiency in electronic document review platforms
  • Familiarity with various court electronic filing systems
  • Strong understanding of data management principles
  • Flexibility to work on diverse legal matters and stay current with evolving e-discovery technologies
