Job Description:

A Hattiesburg, MS-based firm is seeking a motivated paralegal to join their team and work with senior partners on complex civil litigation cases in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibility:

Handle and organize document-intensive case files, ensuring accuracy and meticulous detail
Conduct factual research, interviews, and investigations to identify key players and case materials
Review e-discovery for production and analyze essential documents for legal proceedings
Prepare and manage discovery responses and other pleadings for both Federal and State litigation
Coordinate depositions, summarize records, and support trial prep through exhibits and documentation
Communicate with attorneys, court officials, and clients to deliver exceptional support behind the scenes
Leverage litigation support tools to draft, organize, and manage legal materials

Requirements:

Deadline-focused, detail-oriented personality with a Type-A mindset
The ability to multitask, take initiative, and work independently without missing key case milestones
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with attorneys, clients, and officials
Proficiency in legal research tools like Westlaw and the ability to verify case citations
A passion for excellence and a track record of meeting tight deadlines under pressure
