Job Description

We are looking for a capable Paralegal to support a busy legal practice in Scottsdale, Arizona with matters involving estate planning, trust and probate administration, and related business transactions. This position is well suited for someone who can manage detailed legal documentation, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and keep work moving across several active matters. The ideal candidate is organized, resourceful, and comfortable balancing client service with precise administrative and drafting responsibilities.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare customized estate planning materials, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other supporting documents based on attorney direction
  • Coordinate trust funding activities by gathering asset information, organizing transfer documentation, and helping ensure property is properly titled
  • Partner with attorneys to revise existing plans and assemble documents for new estate, probate, and business matters
  • Draft and process transactional paperwork related to entity creation, ownership changes, contracts, and real estate matters
  • Submit filings and recorded documents to the appropriate Arizona state and county agencies, including corporate and property-related offices
  • Assist with probate and trust administration by preparing court documents, accountings, settlement materials, and other case-related filings
  • Communicate with clients, fiduciaries, financial institutions, beneficiaries, and third-party professionals to obtain records and resolve outstanding items
  • Provide day-to-day support to multiple attorneys while maintaining organized files, tracking deadlines, and updating case information in management systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of an accredited paralegal studies program
  • At least 2 years of experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, tax-oriented estate matters, financial planning support, or business transactions
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience managing case files, legal databases, and document organization systems
  • Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow established procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive client relationships and solve problems effectively
  • Proven ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with a legal team
