We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support for plaintiff-side employment law litigation, ensuring cases are managed efficiently and effectively from start to finish. Job Responsibility:
Manage case calendars, deadlines, and schedules to ensure timely progression of litigation
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, complaints, and settlement agreements
Coordinate and prepare for mediations, arbitrations, and trials by organizing evidence and documentation
Communicate with clients and other parties to gather information and provide updates on case progress
Conduct legal research and compile findings to support case strategies
Maintain accurate records and track billable hours using case management software
Assist attorneys with discovery processes, including organizing responses and reviewing evidence
Ensure compliance with federal and state court procedures throughout all case stages
Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and manage high-volume caseloads effectively
Support trial preparation with detailed organization of exhibits, witness lists, and other critical materials
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on litigation
Familiarity with employment law or related fields such as personal injury or family law litigation
Proficiency in managing cases independently with minimal supervision
Strong organizational and communication skills to handle complex tasks effectively
Knowledge of federal and state court procedures
federal court experience is preferred
Experience using case management software, such as FileVine, is an advantage
Ability to perform legal research and draft documents with attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
