Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In this role, you will provide essential support to two attorneys, assisting with contract management, privacy-related projects, and data aggregation tasks. This position offers an opportunity to utilize your expertise in legal processes while contributing to meaningful initiatives within the education industry.

Job Responsibility:

Review and analyze contract terms to identify risks and recommend necessary edits
Support attorneys by preparing contracts for finalization and signature
Handle privacy-related projects, including collecting and organizing data across multiple entities
Aggregate and analyze data using Excel, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Assist with various agreements such as research agreements, non-sponsored research agreements, and student activity agreements based on established templates
Conduct research and compile relevant legal documentation as required
Collaborate effectively with the risk office to ensure smooth project execution
Maintain organized records and documentation for all ongoing projects
Utilize tools such as Adobe Acrobat and case management software to streamline legal processes

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Paralegal, preferably in the education or related industry
Proficiency in tools like Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and iManage
Strong skills in data collection, aggregation, and analysis using Excel
Familiarity with various types of agreements, including research and student activity agreements
Excellent organizational and communication skills to coordinate projects effectively
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
Experience with case management software and other legal tools
Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all tasks
