We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join a dynamic real estate team in Doral, Florida. This long-term contract position requires a detail-oriented individual who can handle a fast-paced workload, manage complex transactions, and dedicate the necessary hours to meet critical deadlines. The role involves working on-site and directly supporting attorneys with various stages of real estate transactions, from initial preparations to post-closing activities.
Job Responsibility:
Draft and organize essential real estate transaction documents, including escrow instructions, title reviews, and due diligence materials
Coordinate and oversee large-scale transactions, managing workflows, document execution, and pre- and post-closing obligations
Prepare closing documents such as agreements and consents, while compiling schedules and exhibits to support transactions
Assist with post-closing tasks, including mailings, closing binders, and transfer agreements
File amendments and closing documents accurately, ensuring compliance with legal requirements
Support attorneys with administrative tasks and special projects related to real estate matters
Maintain accurate and timely records of timekeeping and transaction progress
Attend closings to manage the execution of documents and ensure smooth processes
Establish and utilize procedures for handling complex real estate transactions efficiently
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of real estate paralegal experience within a law firm, showcasing expertise in complex real estate transactions
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred
Paralegal certification from a recognized program is highly desirable
Proficiency in Windows-based software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with Qualia, Simplifile, and Notary Cam is advantageous
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of staff and management
Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work extended hours as needed to meet project demands
