We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our team in Dallas, Texas. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in handling plaintiff’s personal injury cases, including managing them from intake to resolution. This position requires someone who is attentive to detail, thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, and is well-versed in both state and federal court procedures.
Job Responsibility:
Oversee the management of personal injury cases from initial intake through resolution, ensuring all legal processes are adhered to
Draft, prepare, and respond to discovery documents while meeting required deadlines and legal standards
Handle e-filing processes for state courts and assist with federal court filings as necessary
Maintain and organize case files, including preparing trial materials and exhibits for litigation
Provide support during trial preparations, including briefing attorneys and administering claims
Utilize case management software to monitor deadlines, appointments, and overall case progress
Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other relevant parties throughout the case lifecycle
Conduct legal research and prepare case documents using tools such as Adobe Acrobat
Manage calendars, schedules, and key case deadlines to ensure efficient case progression
Assist in drafting settlement agreements and other legal correspondence as required
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience working as a Paralegal, preferably in personal injury litigation
Extensive knowledge of discovery processes and civil litigation procedures
Proven expertise in trial preparation and managing case files
Proficiency in using case management software to track and organize legal matters
Solid understanding of personal injury law and plaintiff-focused litigation
Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders
Familiarity with e-filing systems for state and federal courts
