Job Responsibility:
Organizing and maintaining client files
Updating the calendar
Scheduling and coordinating meetings and medical examinations and site inspections
Office filing
E-filing (NJ ecourts)
Client intake
Manning the phone
Preparation of letters and legal documents form initial intake through discovery and trial documents
Requesting and reviewing medical records
Occasional legal research
Requirements:
Paralegal with knowledge and use of MS Word
Good organizational skills, attention to detail, self starter
5-10 years of experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in personal injury law
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and case management software
Strong knowledge of discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation processes
Familiarity with personal injury litigation and plaintiffs' cases
Excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
Experience with e-filing systems, particularly NJ eCourts
Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and legal teams
