We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. Job Responsibility:
Manage complex scheduling and calendar coordination using Outlook to ensure seamless operations
Prepare and file legal documents with state and federal courts, adhering to all required procedures and deadlines
Draft basic legal pleadings such as Notices of Appearance and motions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Utilize Adobe Acrobat Pro extensively to format and manage legal documents
Assist with organizing and optimizing case management software, including coding templates for improved functionality
Provide front desk support, including greeting visitors and handling reception duties as needed
Participate in discovery, trial preparation, and civil litigation tasks to support attorneys effectively
Collaborate with the team in a criminal law environment, demonstrating professionalism and discretion
Conduct teleconferencing sessions via platforms like Teams and Zoom for meetings and case discussions
Stay updated on legal technology trends and contribute to long-term projects aimed at improving operational efficiency
Requirements:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Familiarity with teleconferencing platforms such as Teams and Zoom
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro for document management
Experience with case management software, preferably Neos
Understanding of state and federal court filing processes
Ability to draft basic pleadings and motions with attention to detail
Interest in legal technology and adaptability to new tools and systems
Willingness to work in-office five days a week during the probationary period, transitioning to a hybrid schedule
