Established plaintiff firm is seeking a Paralegal to join their dynamic team in Oakland, California. As part of a plaintiff-focused personal injury firm, you will play a critical role in supporting attorneys and advocating for clients seeking justice. Job Responsibility:
Assist attorneys in all stages of personal injury cases, from initial intake to resolution
Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence
Maintain regular communication with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
Organize case files, track deadlines, and manage calendars to ensure timely progress
Prepare discovery responses, settlement documents, and trial-related materials
Conduct administrative tasks such as document management and data entry
Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and stakeholders
Collaborate with the legal team to ensure streamlined case management and effective support
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law preferred
Strong knowledge of personal injury litigation processes and procedures
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Paralegal certification or equivalent education preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with case management software and trial preparation techniques
